Team teaching is in place with two or more teachers for each grade level, with 3yrs.-7th grade studying the same stories and messages of the Bible in age appropriate ways. The Sunday School classes have been using 'Exploring Faith' curriculum since the fall of 2002. It is our goal that the children and the adults that work with them will seek and trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit, growing in discipleship while developing a deep relationship with God.

8th Grade is when students will go through a confirmation class. They take an in depth look at what it means to be United Methodist as well as UM history.

2yr. - 3rd grade: upper level of education building
4th grade - High School: lower level of education building
8th grade confirmation small groups: above sanctuary

  • The 3rd graders are presented with Bibles each fall.
  • The 8th grade confirmation class is lead on Wednesday afternoons by the Associate Pastor and then meet with their mentor leaders on Sunday morning.
  • Several times through the year there will be a mission project for the Sunday School classes to participate in, such as collecting school supplies, helping needy families at Christmas, bringing food for the local food pantry, etc.
  • 1st - 6th grade classes have presentations for the congregation twice a year. One of the presentations will deal with something that they are learning in their curriculum and the other one will be a more specified topic.
